What is a Heating and Air Conditioning System?
The HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) system refers to the entire system that functions to create a well-ventilated and controlled thermal environment in an enclosed space, such as a shopping mall or a corporate structure.
Chilliers (air-cooled, water-cooled, or water-cooled package unit (WCPU)), cooling towers (if a water-cooled chiller is employed), water pumps, and various types of air conditioning units (AHU or FCU) are all part of this system. At AHU/FCU units, chillers generate chilled water to cool the circulated air to a pre-set temperature, and they also feature a blower to keep the air circulating and provide adequate ventilation.
critical to keep all of the HVAC system components in good working order on a regular basis.
